We enjoyed a great deal the church service they had on 7/3/11 on the second floor of the motel. It would have been enhanced if the room had been better air conditioned.
The location was central to the historic sites and a value for the money.
Motel was an original Howard Johnsons and is experiencing a bit of minor wear and tear type deterioration that fortunately is being corrected by the current owners.
We did not enjoy our stay at the Red Carpet Inn. We had spent day travelling enroute to N York City and were tired. This Inn should not be rated as a 2 star. On approaching the entrance everything looked dirty and tired. The room was no better - coffee or something brown spilled over the wall near the waste bin and other areas. The area surrounding the sink taps was dirty. The towels were tired, thin and freyed-one had a hole in it and makeup on it. We did not use the shower (shower head coming out of the wall) and bath taps mucky. The furnishings were very old and worn. One floor lamp did not work. I did not dare look behind the bedhead as would not have then slept. Had we not been so tired we would not have stayed here. Whole place needs refurbishing and good clean!
please see above comments. please treat this as a complaint.Extremely disappointed with this one. Have just completed a 30 day tour and booked most inns or hotels through yourselves. Happy with all but this one.
The location in the downtown near the trolley museum and the local historical buildings and architecture
It was under renovation so its hard to say,
Je n ai pas aime car la chambre etait malpropre poussiere sur les meubles et le tapis pas nettoyer beaucoup de miette par terre
I think it really did well for the price. I was pleasantly surprised about the in room coffee pot AND a continental breakfast! the mattress was wonderful. Thanks
I worried that it was not located in the safest are of town, as I was traveling alone. (I am a female) But everything was OK.
Price and location. Outside looked a little rundown, but the room was pleasant and better than I expected.
Outside of the hotel looked a little rundown and in need of paint in some areas. The continental breakfast was merely acceptable.
Good location, good and free parking place, free wi-fi, good hotel for overnight stay.
Mildew in the bathrooms. Over air freshened rooms. Uncomfortable beds stained sheets.
not in a good part of town. some questionable characters hannging around. would not stay there again
The staff was cordial. The room was large and inexpensive.
Facilities were limited and the environment was kind of seedy. Breakfast selection was also limited.
Clean, comfortable, and close to highway
Very minor - asked clerk for restaurant, sent me behind the hotel to a pub (great choice), but it was closed on Monday and Tuesday (I was there on a Tuesday).
The hotel smelled like a musty old shoe that had been out in the rain and had just trampled dog doo doo
it is run down, facilities like shower head and TV cabinet and table are broken down, towels are extremely rough and abrasive
Located right in town
Holes in walls, place is run down needs updating.
